Lessons Learned:
1)      This week we made our personal constitutions, I was able to come up with five things that I would like to improve on throughout my life and it will give me a good guideline to follow which will also be sure to keep me out of jail.
2)      Good decisions make a business better, not hard work. Hard work helps but Nokia started out as a boot company and eventually became the top cellphone company in the world. That means any company could become the biggest or best company as long as the people in charge make the best decisions for the company possible.
3)      I learned that we should do what we love not just because we will love doing it, but also because it is what we will do best. If someone loves what they do they will be better at that than someone that isn’t as passionate about it.
4)      We learned that it is the little things in life that really matter, things such as our relationships. Our relationships with ourselves, others, and God.

Lessons Not Yet Learned:
1)      I need to keep with my personal constitution. Take all of the daily, short, and long term goals and follow them as I have laid out. It will be difficult but they are all goals that I know I can reach.

2)      I still need to read the Italia Factoria Case Study. After I have read it I need to learn from other people’s experiences.

Lessons Learned:
1)      This week seemed to really focus on honesty and moral guidelines. The lessons taught us about our moral guard rails or limits we put on ourselves to keep us from doing anything illegal or morally compromising.
2)      We also read the case study and it challenged us to come up with the best solution for Magdalena Yesil. I said that she should do what her hear tells her. She doesn’t need the extra money because he lives a frugal life and with her track record she would most likely be successful in any venture she decides to go with.
3)      I learned that it is ok for me to be me. I really want to start a business and nothing is going to stop me from making the business that I want instead of what people might think will be successful.

Lessons Not Yet Learned:
1)      I still need to learn how to show absolute integrity in my dealings with my fellow man. I would like to think that I am honest and do what is right, but I know that I can always improve and do what is right more often. It is hard to always do the right thing in every situation and I hope that I will do that from now on, but the only way to see how well I do is to try my hardest see how honorable I can be in my business.

Entrepreneur Journal
Date: 01/14/16

Lessons Learned:
1) I learned the importance of journaling and have stuck to it for the second week in a row. I feel that this will give me a really good view of my progress as the weeks continue.
2) I have learned about stars and stepping stones. Stars are the far off goals, where we want to get to in the future. Stepping stones are steps we take in order to get to our stars.
3) From the reading this week I learned the dangers of being greedy and trying to get more than you need through the stories of King Midas and the man who can get as much land as he can walk around in one day.
4) I learned that there are not at least 50 things that you would still like to do in life you are pretty much already dead.

Lessons Not Yet Learned:
1) I need to learn to learn to take more risks. Not pointless risks but risks that could lead to great opportunities in the future.
2) I still need to find my calling or Star. I can’t start heading across stepping stones until I discover that.
3) I need to take Og Mandino’s Ten Vows of Success and use them to be more successful in life, business, and my schooling.

Lessons Learned:
1)       This week I learned about the importance of journaling to make my hero’s journey honest and successful. It acts as a mirror and will not lie to me in the future about my successes and failures. It will also give me a chance to review my progress to show me where I am heading and if I like that direction that I am taking.
2)       I also learned about the importance of making friends with people who will help me succeed in life and work. People are like chameleons because they can’t change their colors to whatever they want, they just to match their environment. A Good friend can mean the difference between success and failure.
3)       I learned the importance of taking risks. Risks are very important in everything and we are evolutionary made to avoid risks so sometimes the risk isn’t actually all that bad. If something can be reversed after it has started then it isn’t all that big of a risk.

Lessons Not Yet Learned:
1)      I need to learn to live like the lessons have outlined and learn stick with journaling, taking risks, and following my dreams.
2)      I need to learn to dream big but take small steps. I have always either dreamed to small or taken too big of steps. It is really a balancing act one that I have to master in the future.
3)      I need to find out what my “calling” is. For that I need to do three things.
a. Follow a gift or strength.
b. Do something that I am deeply passionate about.
c. Fill a burning need in the world.
4)      I need to learn to make plans for my future, multiple that all act for the same thing. A plan A-Z for whatever may come up that stands in my way for achieving my goal.
